Come and Welcome to Jesus Christ

I come now to the Reaſons of the Obſervation.

1. IF Jeſus Chriſt would allow thee Once [gap] Think, that he will caſt thee out; [gap] muſt allow thee to think, that he will falſify [gap] Word: For he hath ſaid, I will in no wiſe [gap] out. But Chriſt would not that thou ſhould [gap] account him as one, that will falſify his W[gap] For he ſaith of himſelf, I am the Truth. Th[gap] fore he would not, that any that in Truth [gap] coming to him, ſhould once think that he [gap] caſt them out.

Secondly, If Jeſus Chriſt ſhould allow [gap]

[gap]ner that in Truth is coming to him Once to [gap]nk, that he will caſt him out; then he muſt [gap]ow, and ſo countenance the firſt appearance [gap] Unbelief; which he counteth his greateſt Ene [gap], & againſt which he has bent even his Holy [gap]ſpel. Therefore Jeſus Chriſt would not, that [gap]ey that in Truth are coming to him ſhould [gap]ce think, that he will caſt them out: Sea [gap]t. 14.31. Mark 11.13. Luke 24.25.

Thirdly, If Jeſus Chriſt ſhould allow the com [gap]g Sinner once to think that he will caſt him [gap]et; then he muſt allow him to make a Queſt [gap]on, wether he is willing to recieve his Father's [gap]ift? For the coming Sinner is his Father's Gift: [gap]s alſo ſays the Text, but he teſtifieth. All that [gap]e Father giveth him, ſhall come to him; & [gap]m that cometh, he will in no wiſe caſt out. [gap] Therefore Jeſus Chriſt would not have him, that [gap] truth is coming to him, once to think that [gap]e will caſt him out.

Fourthly, If Jeſus Chriſt ſhould allow them once to [gap]ink (that indeed are coming to him) that he will [gap]ſt him out, he muſt allow them to think▪ that he [gap]ill deſpiſe and reject the Drawing of the Father. [gap]r no man can come to him, but whom the Father Draweth. But it would be high Blaſphemy & dam [gap]ble Wickedneſs once to imagine thus. Therefore, [gap]eſus Chriſt would not have him that cometh, once [gap]hink that he will caſt him out.

Fifthly If Jeſus Chriſt ſhould allow thoſe that in [gap]ed are coming to him, once to think that he will [gap]aſt them out, he muſt allow them to think, that he [gap]ill be unfaithful to the Truſt and Charge that his [gap]ther hath committed to him, which is to Save▪ & [gap]t to Loſe any thing of that which he hath give[gap] [gap]im to ſave▪ John 6.3[gap].

But the Father hath given him a charge to ſave [gap]he coming ſinner: therefore it cannot be that he [gap]ould all [gap] that ſuch ſhould once think that the [gap]ll caſt him out.

Sixthly. If Jeſus Chriſt ſhould allow, that t[gap] ſhould once think, that are coming to him, that will caſt them out, then he muſt allow them think, that he will be unfaithful to his Office Prieſthood. For as by the firſt part of it he pai[gap] Price for, and ranſomed Souls: So b[gap] the ſee[gap] part of it, he continually maketh Interceſſion to [gap] for them that come, Heb 7 21. But he cannot al[gap] us at all to ſcruple or queſtion his faithful Execu[gap] on of his Prieſthood. Therefore he cannot all [gap] us once to think, that the coming Sinner ſhall [gap] caſt out.

Sevently. If Jeſus Chriſt ſhould allow us once [gap] think, that the coming Sinner ſhall be caſt out, th[gap] muſt allow us to Queſtion his will or Power or [gap] rit to Save, but he cannot allow us once to Queſt[gap] any of thoſe. Therefore not once to think, th[gap] the coming Sinner ſhall be caſt out.

1. He cannot allow us to Queſtion his Will; fo[gap] he ſaith in the Text, I will in no wiſe caſt out

2. He cannot allow us to Queſtion his Powe[gap] for the Holy Ghoſt ſaith, He is able to ſave to t[gap] utmoſt them that come.

3. He cannot allow us to Queſtion the Efficacy [gap] his Merit. For the Blood of Chriſt cleanſeth [gap] Comer from all Sin. 1 John 1. Therefore he cann[gap] allow, that he that is coming to him, ſhould on[gap] think, that he will caſt him out.

Eighthly. If Jeſus Chriſt ſhould allow the co[gap] ing Sinner once to think that he will him caſt o[gap] he muſt allow him to give the Life to the manife[gap] Teſtimony of the Father▪ Son, and Spirit, [gap] the whole Goſpel contain'd in Moſes▪ the Proph[gap] the Book of Pſalms▪ and that commonly called [gap] New Teſtament. But he cannot allow of thi[gap] therefore not that the coming Sinner ſhould [gap] think, that he will caſt him out.

Ninthly. Laſtly, If Jeſus Chriſt ſhould allow [gap] that is coming to him once to think that he [gap] caſt him out, which he in Truth and Righteouſn[gap] hath taken that they might have a ſtrong Co[gap]

[gap]tion, who have fled for refuge to Jeſus Chr[gap]

[gap]t he cannot allow th[gap] ▪ therefore he cannot allow [gap]at the coming Sinner ſhould once think that he [gap]ill caſt him out, H[gap]b 8.
