Q. 36. What profit dost thou receive by Christ’s holy conception and nativity?

Question. What profit dost thou receive by Christ’s holy conception and nativity?

Answer. That he is our Mediator (1 Tim. 2;5); and with his innocence and perfect holiness covers, in the sight of God, my sins (Rev. 1;5); wherein I was conceived and brought forth (Ps. 51;5).
